Bug Description

I have this error and other errors as a result of the loss of my HDMI audio driver from my AMD HD Radeon 6570 video card on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. There are a number of kernels that can't update. I'm stuck with a partial upgrade with many errors all because the HDMI audio driver would not load after unplugging my Cakewalk UA25-EX Sound Card from the USB port.It seems that I have not been able to restore the HDMI audio driver which shows up in constant error messages and is affecting any updates. It also affects the way the video driver loads the desktop. I am curious about how to resolve this problem so that updates can be normal not partials with errors. The name of the video driver that shares the audio driver name is AMD TURKS (DRM 2.43.0 / 4.4.0-173-generic, LLVM 6.0.0). I presume that the HDMI audio is similar Turks/Whistler HDMI Audio [Radeon HD 6000 Series]. The Cakewalk UA25-EX USB Audio drivers work perfectly. It is the HDMI Audio driver that is the problem. I was thinking about taking out the video card and booting from on board graphics to reset the hard drive and then putting the video card back in and maybe the HDMI audio will be recognized again but because of all these kernel errors, I'm scared that it might make things worse than before and possibly not boot-able. Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve this problem, restoring the HDMI audio and correcting the broken kernels which are constantly evident any time I try to update the system. I have a Gateway DX4300 computer with 8GB of RAM and a AMD Phenom(tm) 9750 Quad-Core Processor × 4 . The video driver is the AMD TURKS (DRM 2.43.0 / 4.4.0-173-generic, LLVM 6.0.0). The video card is a AMD HD Radeon 6570 video card.I think that the package name is package grub-pc 2.02~beta2-36ubuntu3.28. I don't know the version number.
