Bug Description

I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 dev with grub2 2.02~beta2-36ubuntu1 and on executing "update-grub" on a terminal with LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 I'm seeing the line "Grub-Konfigurationsdatei wird generiert …" but doing this on the console results that the last character is shown as a white square. Also I'm wondering why for the 3 points the single character "…" is used while with LANG=en_US.utf8 the character "." is used 3 times instead.

It seems to be caused by your terminal not being able to display the multibyte character "…", and not a bug in GRUB2.
