I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Have you made any changes to /etc/grub.d/10_linux locally?

This error points to changes that were made and may have introduced a syntax error around line 124.
