Are there any other copies of /var/log/ apt/history. log (finishing in numbers followed by .gz?) on your system? This may help us tracking the problem down to when it started -- I see multiple package installs failed with dpkg errors in the attached log.
Also, could you please try to run 'apt-get -f install' on your system, see if it causes the same error message to show up again?
