Bug Description
gfxmode isn't properly set by update-grub. Will only be respected if loadfont returned without error.
Awaited:
setting GRUB_GFXMODE to 800x600 switching grub to use 800x600 vga screen by max. available colors.
Real result:
keeps on using 640x480 vga screen.
