This was probably my fault. I was messing around with GRUB (sudo cat) and Grub Customizer, even though I know that it's bugged.

Seems like 99_brunch whatever that is is not a shell script writing a grub.cfg snippet to stdout but a grub.cfg snippet on its own.

/etc/grub.d/99_brunch: 1: menuentry: not found
