The Package "Ubuntu-Desktop" failed to install or upgrade

Getting error, whicle upgarding from festy to hardy.

I already changed in source.list as per the requrment, still i am facing like this problem ,

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UpgradeNotes explicitly says that you can only upgrade from feisty (7.04) to hardy (8.04) by way of gutsy (7.10), not directly.
