Grub hangs on "Start up..."

Bug Description

I have an Acer Aspire 5050-5410 and Jaunty Alpha 6 installed on it. When I turn on the computer, grub starts ok but when the system starts Grub hangs on "Starting Up..." After like 35-45 seconds the system starts to boot normally.

It's a huge improvement over Intrepid's Busybox Screen of Death, which I had to type "exit" after the error message appeared but it still very annoying to wait for so long.

Thank you, but this is a thing of the past. This has been fixed since Jaunty beta. This laptop boots freaking fast now!
