Bug Description

Hmm, ok im new to this and all so please excuse my stupidity.

Ok, im currently or was running Windows Vista, along with Ubuntu Studio. But I installed Ubuntu Studio wrong and decided to format my partion. By formating the partion I accidentally removed the GRUB loader (getting error 22), and made it not possible to reinstall the Ubuntu altogether becuase when I try to auto partition it tells me its not possible becuase of some error. So I cant reinstall UB and cant access anything when I boot up, is it possible to just install a copy of GRUB? And I dont think I have a Vista Restore disk, I might. Gotta look for it though.

This grub thing's happened to me twice already, the first time I didnt loose my partion but now it did so I cant reinstall. And is there any way to remove grub and use the windows boot loader?

Thanks! :)

Can you describe you partitioning in more detail. What you thought is wrong and what exactly you were trying to do. With what program you tried to format partition.
