Bug Description
Whenever there is a major upgrade (kernel upgrade or new version), the grub list gets replaced and overwritten. Users that have Windows as a boot option will not be able anymore to boot into Windows until they manually edit the grub file (sudo gedit /boot/grub/
title Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
root (hd0,0)
savedefault
makeactive
chainloader +1
A newbie cannot be asked to edit the grub menu.lst and I think the upgrades should take this into account.
