ubuntu 12.04 failed to install grub

Bug Description

Installing ubuntu 12.04 on Raid 2 disk hardrive was successful until the very end.

At this point the install failed at installing the bootloader.

I beleive the problem is with the raid array.

I'm not sure how to give extra information.
