Bug Description

Binary package hint: grub-installer

The command line given to the installer was:

        append initrd=desktop/initrd.lz boot=casper netboot=nfs nfsroot=10.15.0.192:/var/lib/nfsroot/desktop only-ubiquity automatic-ubiquity debug-ubiquity ubiquity-debug file=/cdrom/daily/mario.seed quiet splash -- nouveau.modeset=0

The nouveau.modeset=0 was not copied to the installed grub config

I have the same problem. Ubuntu won't work correctly on my system unless I pass more parameters in (amd_iommu=on iommu=pt). Since the installer doesn't update grub config, it boots in to a not working state, then I have to go update the config manually.
