Bug Description
Binary package hint: grub-installer
Installation report:
Ubuntu Studio i386 Alternate:
Installation appeared to run normally at the very end, but grub-installer never ran, or prompted to run to install the bootloader. On the reboot, there is no grub on hd0. During installation, when tasksel came up, I selected Installation options were use the entire disk. One IDE disk, tested in QEMU. Installing grub manually resolved the issue. Casper was not installed. Installation logs attached.

If it didn't run, what's all this in syslog? This all looks quite normal as far as I can tell. Note that grub-installer doesn't prompt if there are no other operating systems on the disk.
