Bug Description
computer : P3 500 MHz hda 40GB : hda1 : Windows 98 SE : hda2 kubuntu flight2
During installation of kubuntu dapper flight2 my hdb is not recognised. I send
grub loader to /dev/fd0. I only get win98 and kubuntu in the grub menu.
Installation is performing to the end. Once installed i cannot get on the
internet with konquerer although the internet connection (broadband cable) was
used during install.
I afterwards i installed kubuntu 5.10. During install i let the partition maker
make free space on the partition with kubuntu flight 2 on. With kubuntu 5.10 i
could go on the internet when it was just installed. After reboot i get kubuntu
flight 2, win 98 and ubuntu 5.10 on the grub menu coming from /dev/fd0. No
kubuntu 5.10.
I (1.5 years linux experience; no IT-background) guess that i committed errors
myself but you never known whether it helps you to know this.
