Executing "grub-install/dev/nvme0n1" failed on Unbuntu 22.04 install

attempted to configure a dual-boot machine with Ubuntu 22.04 and Win 10. Windows 10 install would not work so I rebooted to Linux and it would not start. I re-attempted a Ubuntu install and received the grub error.
