Installing Ubuntu on separate drive, dual boot with win 10
Error: unable to install Grub on sda/dev.
second attempt gave me the same error, unable to choose OS to boot.
Ubuntu release: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
Version downloaded from Ubuntu site
Expectations: be able to choose btw Windows 10 or Ubuntu
Result: error message at end of installation:
"Unable to install Grub on sda/dev..."
End result, stuck on a gray out "Install UBuntu 22.04 LTS' nOT RESPONDING
You may choose to wait a short while for it to continue or
force the application to quit entirely.
the two buttons "Force Quit" and "Wait" are grayed out.
