Bug Description

I have been having trouble with boot failures and tried 'acpi=off' during installation of 20.04.2 from USB; ticked 'Install 3rd part software for graphics ..' this time. Boot from USB and initial install usually works ok; boot error arises later, maybe after software updates. This is on a Dell G5 15-5587 with BIOS version 1.8.0 and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti.
