fresh installation of ubuntu 20.10 failed on grub-install

- in French: L'exécution de "grub-install /dev/sda" a échoué. Cette erreur est fatale.
- in English, probably: Executing "grub-install /dev/sda/" failed. Fatal error.

grub-install : erreur : impossible de copier « /usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi-signed/grubx64.efi.signed » vers « /boot/efi/EFI/ubuntu/grubx64.efi » : Aucun espace disponible sur le périphérique.

This translates into No space available on the device.

Looks like it is trying to install grub into wrong device.
