Installer crashed while attempting to create bootloader

Bug Description

I not able to provide many other details, as this was a clean image of the installer that had not been modified in any way, and I was not installing along side windows 10 but deleting it and installing ubuntu in it's place.

Thank you for your bug report, could you give some details on how to selecting the partioning options?

The log has warnings similar to
May 3 08:59:03 ubuntu ubiquity: The device '/dev/sdb1' doesn't seem to have a valid NTFS.
May 3 08:59:03 ubuntu ubiquity: Maybe the wrong device is used? Or the whole disk instead of a
May 3 08:59:03 ubuntu ubiquity: partition (e.g. /dev/sda, not /dev/sda1)? Or the other way around?
May 3 08:59:03 ubuntu ubiquity: NTFS signature is missing.
May 3 08:59:03 ubuntu ubiquity: Failed to mount '/dev/sdb2'
May 3 08:59:03 ubuntu ubiquity: : Invalid argument

Which suggests it's trying to mount ntfs partitions and failing for some reason
