even when I am near the router wifi signal is very weak

wifi adapter signal is very weak. I think the issue is with the wifi driver

Your issue isn't related to wifi; if you open the UbiquitySyslog.txt you'll see all downloads occurred normally, and your issue was "GrubInstaller failed with code 1".
