installing ubuntu on 240gb ssd with 120gb win 10 on another ssd. Trying to make dual boot.

Thank you for your bug report. Could you give details on what disk option did you choose? Did you pick the "install on the side of existing windows installation" or "custom" partitioning (and if so what partitions did you select, how did you configure them, did you select to format)?

Had several issues trying to install. Most typical choice was "Something
Else" and then would setup partitions. After several hours I went back and
downloaded another copy of 18.04, that one seemed to work after putting on
thumb drive with Rufus. I have since installed. Apparently it was a bad
download?

Thanks for the update, it's not uncommon to have corruption errors during the download or image write, closing the bug
