Bug Description

I'm installing Ubuntu 16 on a MacBook pro 8,2 and received an error stating that the grub2 package failed to load. I previously had version 14.04 installed but the machine crashed after attempting an upgrade. So, I opted for a fresh install with no luck. I will now attempt to reinstall 14.04.
