Bug Description
I attempted to run an installation of Ubuntu GNome 17.04 and at the end, it said it failed to install grub and I wouldn't be able to boot the system afterward - no choice to proceed to retry, just report the bug and cancel.

You do not have an EFI-System- Partition, so Grub cannot be installed.
As partition table I recommend you to use GPT instead of MBR/MSDOS
