Bug Description
I have an Alienware and I am trying to install Ubuntu alongside Windows 10. Initially i had secure boot off and BIOS in UEFI. Ubuntu gave me a black screen once i hit install ubuntu on the boot loader.
Then I changed the options and added nomodeset to the splash screen.Ubuntu installation started but however failed during the installation of the grub saying "failed to install grub-efi to target".
Tried in secure boot mode on and also off. Please advise. It is getting critical.

Your installation medium contains a mix of files from Trusty and Xenial. You need to format the usb stick before reusing it for another release.
