I have an 11.6" netbook with Windows 10 Home OEM preinstalled (Clevo W510TU, Intel Celeron N2808, 30GB Kingston SSD, 2GB DDR3L Teamgroup RAM).
I tried to install Xubuntu 15.10 through a USB stick with UEFI enabled, secure boot disabled.
I chose "Try Ubuntu without installing".
I launched the installer and I chose to erase Windows 10 completely. I didn't do any partitioning myself.
The installer got stuck towards the end of the installation when installing grub.
Ubiquity created automatically 3 partitions: an ESP partition, a root partition and a swap partition which is normal.
I tried a second time. During the installation I chose "Something else" (=Manual Partitioning). But I didn't make any new partitions. I kept the 3 partitions which the installer had created previously, formatting only the root partition. And the second time I didn't have any problems.
So *I* don't have any problems currently, I just decided to search here for similar bug reports and share my experience.
