Bug Description
This went merrily along until it got to the final stage and died with a grub error. Why it was attempting to install grub on a UEFI machine is a better question though. Odd 15.10 has this problem when Elementary, which is based on 14.04, cleanly installs. Elementary has boot problems with the combination of 32-bit UEFI and 64-bit multi-core computer, but it does cleanly install

The 64 bit EFI build of grub is being installed, but it seems to have become confused and thinks it is the bios version:
grub-install: error: /usr/lib/ grub/i386- pc/modinfo. sh doesn't exist. Please specify --target or --directory.
