During installation, grub2 package fails to install. Partition is not bootable afterwars.

Bug Description

Trying to install Ubuntu 14.04 on Acer Aspire E15 ES1-512-C88M. Installation of grub2 package always fails. I can no longer boot from any partition on my computer.
