reinstalled ubuntu, keep previous data, grub installer crashed

Bug Description

I assume the reinstall probably didn't find my boot partition and crashed when trying to install grub. I'm just filling this out because it was suggested to do so by the installer. If its only grub then I'll fix it myself. None the less, so should you :)
