Bug Description

During install of 14.04 Trusty Tahr x64 nightly (3/19/2014), I was unable to perform a encrypted install onto a USB stick, using the device for the USB stick.

Previous installs of Ubuntu 14.04 x86 have been done (without encryption enabled) o nthe same USB stick.

The crash occurred after entering the "automated" encrypted volume design and submitting it. I also required secure write to free space. Will repeat again, and determine if issue is consistent.
