Bug Description

This error first started to show up during the upgrade to 12.10 and could not be corrected using other method that are none install disk based. The fix method did not work either and so finally the use of the install disk was employed. It eventually gave the fatal error for grub. I am forced to wipe the drive as it seems this was a bad upgrade that caused much damage. Backed up my data and so hope this clean install will solve it. Hope the error dump is of use.
