Bug Description
" same old story ": unity tries to install on sda instead of where it was supposed to.
on grub-install it says it does not have success installing on sda and proposes to try another partition to install to but choosing the right device mapper does fail again.
On ubuntu 11.04 no problem so far, it was working out of the box, in the last 3 releases ( ubuntu 11.10, 12.04, 12.10 ) there's no way to install the bootloader; i will try to launch ubiquity with the option to NOT install the bootloader and then install it from scratch... boring ... :-)
