Bug Description
When installing Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit desktop (fresh install to newly formatted hard disks), grub fails to install. My motherboard is an asus e35m1-pro with efi bios. I used gpt partition scheme on a 300 GB hard disk: sda1 /boot 500 MB ext2, sda2 / 25 GB ext4, sda3 /home ~275 GB ext4.
