Bug Description

Binary package hint: grsync

Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10
AMD64
grsync:
  Installed: 0.9.2-1
  Candidate: 0.9.2-1
  Version table:
 *** 0.9.2-1 0

Expected to happen:
Grsync completes transfer, output window displays Completed successfully, close button works.

What actually happens:
If there are only a few files being transfered, grsync works fine.
With a few thousand files, the grsync output window fails to respond with the "Completed successfully" message.
The pause and stop buttons can be clicked but there is no response. The close button remains gray. CPU 100%

When running grsync again, sometimes there are no more files to sync, and the operation actually completed.

If transferring a large number of files (400GB, 550.000 ~ 600.000 files), the process will always hang at about the 250 ~ 300GB range and not complete the transfer.
rsync handles these just fine from the command line, so it is definitely grsync that fails.

I had contact with the upstream developer, he told me he is working on this bug. It has not been fixed yet, but he does confirm it.
