Bug Description

Binary package hint: grass

When trying to start GRASS (with an existing library I must say, so not a clean run -- I just tried creating a new mapset and this doesn't alleviate the problem, so I don't think it it a problem with the mapset) the GUI crashes.

Individual runs of g.region from the command line also create a:

    Segmentation fault (core dumped)

error message.

So I guess the problem is really with g.region.

When I try to run other commands the gui pops up normally.

EDIT: The reason why both the ellipse.table and datum.table are edited is because I require different ellipsoids for working with Martian data.
