Release: 16.04

I am trying to install libmagic++-dev:armhf
to crosscompile app for ubuntu touch and I ran into the following issue while installing the package via apt

Setting up libgvc6:armhf (2.38.0-12ubuntu2.1) ...
/usr/sbin/libgvc6-config-update: 1: /usr/sbin/libgvc6-config-update: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")
dpkg: error processing package libgvc6:armhf (--configure):
 subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2
Processing triggers for libc-bin (2.23-0ubuntu10) ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
 libgvc6:armhf

Further information:
