Binary package hint: gpsbabel-gui

A link "GPSBabel" to "gpsbabelfe" should be created in start menu.

You can actually install the package qebabbell to get a simple gui

Workaround...

As a sudoer user

1. Create /usr/share/applications/gpsbabelfe.desktop

[Desktop Entry]
Name=GPS Babel GUI
Exec=gpsbabelfe
Type=Application
Icon=/usr/share/icons/gpsbabelfe.png
Categories=Utility

2. Download https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/457661563/icon.png

as /usr/share/icons/gpsbabelfe.png
