On upgrade from 12.04 > 14.04 gPodder does not copy over podcasts and config

Bug Description
I get a "clean slate" on opening gPodder for the first time in 14.04 (gnome3 desktop). Prior to upgrade I had extensive list of podcasts.

If you upgraded from gPodder 2.x to gPodder 3.x, you have to use the utility shipped with gPodder 3:
gpodder-
This will move your old database to the new file format.
