Bug Description
In some situations when shrinking, moving, and copying linux-swap, the linux-swap partition is no longer recognized as linux-swap.
For example, try moving (no size change) a linux-swap logical partition to the right and applying the change. The result, after GParted rescans the devices, is that the partition is no longer recognized as linux-swap.
This problem was originally reported upstream in the following bug report:
Bug 670017 - Corrupting swap partition
https:/
The upstream bug report contains a patch to address this regression in behaviour.
