Bug Description
Binary package hint: gparted
gparted crashed with the following console output:
glibmm-ERROR **:
unhandled exception (type std::exception) in signal handler:
what: basic_string:
aborting...
Originally, this crash was triggered by a disk with an msdos disklabel and one partition containing an LVM PV.
I then dd-ed zeroes over the first gigabyte ---> no longer crashes.
I then created *within gparted* an msdos disklabel and one unformatted partition. ---> on restarting it, gparted crashes in the same way!
