Bug Description

Binary package hint: gparted

gparted window shows, and the status bar says "Searching /dev/sda partitions..." then it crashes. Apported couldn't produce an error report (this bug report was generated with "ubuntu-bug gparted"

Can you try running the following command to see if it crashes?

     parted -l

Where the option is a lower case "L", and not the number one "1".
