Bug Description
Binary package hint: gparted
Description: Ubuntu 8.04.3 LTS
Release: 8.04
gparted:
Installed: 0.3.5-1ubuntu5
Candidate: 0.3.5-1ubuntu5
Version table:
*** 0.3.5-1ubuntu5 0
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
0.3.5-1ubuntu3 0
500 http://
Problem:
Since after resizing a swap file system gparted always changes its UUID, several problems appear:
1. fstab needs to be modified so that the swap can be swapon properly in the next reboot.
2. /etc/initramfs-
Expected:
Resizing or moving a swap file system should not change its present UUID just like what happens when resizing other file systems of type ext2 or reiserfs.
