Bug Description

Binary package hint: gparted

Actual Gparted package does not comply to desktop-file-validate test because it has .png in the Icon field. On Hardy, this error cause the icon to be absent when the desktop file is on the desktop.

I attached a tested debdiff that fixes this problem.

Saïvann: do you think you can forward the change upstream too?

Daniel Holbach : Yes I did it, everything is already in the linked bugzilla 518975 including a patch for the upstream Gparted that does not include ubuntu specific chances. However, I don't know if a Gparted developer will have a look at this soon.

Can you add a (LP: #195990) to your next debdiff you submit? That'll close the bug automatically on upload. Other than that: good work!

Apparently that it was uploaded before. Thanks! However, Gparted failed to build for SPARC, in case it is something you must know. Build log has a segmentation fault in it.
