startscreen - unlock not possible

I just created an ubuntu emulator using the Ubuntu-SDK 'Devices' menu and launched it. After selecting the initial options the launcher how-to gets displayed. The problem is, I'm not able to 'Open the launcher' with a mouse-swipe. Every time I swipe from the left edge of the emulator window I'm asked to redo the swip-action.

I don't think that the how-to is technical broken, it is just very hard/not possible to do it with a mouse. I have the impression that the mouse-swipe input gets somewhat interrupted and can't therefore be completed.
