RTM image 4 hangs on start on emulator

Bug Description

I'm running the ubuntu-emulator on 14.04 (0.4+14.10.20140929-0ubuntu1). I've downloaded the latest RTM image (v4, 20141017). When it starts, it hangs with a black screen. The last log messages refer to systemd-logind:

[ 32.979758] systemd-logind[777]: Failed to start unit user@32011.service: Unknown unit: user@32011.service
[ 32.979849] systemd-logind[777]: Failed to start user service: Unknown unit: user@32011.service

I've attached the full start up log.

I'm able to log in with adb shell. I've attached the output of ps in the hope that this will help.

v5, just released, does seem to work. I note that it gives the same warnings logind, so apparently these weren't the issue.
