Bug Description

Hi,

I am trying to install scdaemon on Ubuntu 22.04.

I currently get the following error, which I think is due to a pinning mismatch (note ubuntu2 vs. ubuntu2.1) in the scdaemon package?

$ sudo apt install scdaemon

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 scdaemon : Depends: gpg-agent (= 2.2.27-3ubuntu2)
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

$ sudo apt install gpg-agent

gpg-agent is already the newest version (2.2.27-3ubuntu2.1).

Oh, I meant to post this in scdaemon.

https://packages.ubuntu.com/jammy/scdaemon linked here, hope that's ok :)

Hello and thanks for this bug report. The scdaemon binary package comes from the gnupg2 source package, so you filed the bug against the right package. I however doubt we have a bug here: scdaemon installs just fine on a clean Jammy system. The package currently depends on:

  Depends: gpg-agent (= 2.2.27-3ubuntu2.1)

which is the version available in Jammy. Did you try running an `apt update` before installing? Dd you perhaps manually pin or held (apt-mark hold) packages? Thanks
