Bug Description

While trying to identify processes that are causing system wakeups while idle, I observed that gpg-agent is waking up on a pselect about every 2 seconds. I observed this activity using health-check and monitoring the gpg-agent for 5 minutes on an idle system:

sudo apt install health-check
sudo health-check -p gpg-agent -c -f -r -d 300

Attached is a log of the output analysis from health-check

Should gpg-agent be that busy for an idle machine? Unnecessary wakeups break a CPU from the deepest sleep states and this consumes power.
