gnuit can't install

Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnuit
I want to install git, but ubuntu give me gnuit. I do not want that!
And even worse, It report a bug:
install-info: No dir file specified; try --help for more information.
The message is shown every time when I update. Noisy!
