Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnugk
When starting GNUGK (/etc/init.d/gnugk start), the pid file is not created.
In fact the directory /var/run/gnugk does not exist on reboots.
To try to solve this, I changed the init script to create the directory but th pid was still not created.
So I changed the init again to tell start-stop-daemon to create the PID itself.
I use Ubuntu 8.04 server with the provided 2:2.2.6-7build1 version of gnugk.
PS : I also experienced some bugs and a segfault once and will inform upstream about it.
