With almost daily use, gnucash crashes about once a week. I've pasted the stack trace that bug buddy collected after today's crash.

I just reported a serious GnuCash crash on their bugzilla http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401963 but I also just heard through gnucash-users that this bug has been "long since" fixed and I should upgrade to GnuCash 2.0.4. Of course the latest version available in Ubuntu is older than that.

Setting to confirmed. Seems like this could be released with an update to gnucash in ubuntu.

The upstream bug is correct and fixed, but it belongs to Gtk+. The fix is part of version 2.10.10.
I do not know how to handle these info updates in this launchpad bug and would be glad if someone showed me. Thanks!

changing package to gtk+2.0, crash occurred originally in gnucash.
