description |
The PSD2 banking regulation requires a 2-factor authentication to access my bank account. This took effect on Sept 14 (2019-09-14). Since then, users using HCBI with the affected mechanisms cannot use HBCI anymore.
*** I am locked out of by bank account ***
GnuCash 3.7 and the corresponding aqbanking 5.8.2 release apparently implement the relevant changes. This update is *required* for the package to continue to function. The current release 2.4 no longer works.
Therefore, an emergency update is required.
